- This hand-held colorimeter allows the precise measurement of the degree of skin pigmentation and erythema.
- Indeed and contrarily to other colorimeters, it is able to distinguish redness (erythema) from pigmentation of the skin.
This machine is particularly useful:
- For clinicians to measure the degree of pigmentation:
- In hyperpigmentary disorders (melasma (chloasma, pregnancy mask), postinflammatory hyperpigmentation, laser treatment. (for example when measuring the degree of pigmentation before and after a laser sessions…))
- In hypopigmentary disorders. (vitiligo, excimer laser…)
