Melasma (Chloasma, Pregnancy Mask), Blood vessels and the utility of vascular lasers

  • Melasma lesions show an increase in blood vessels (Chloasma, Pregnancy Mask) lesions when compared with perilesional skin (Kang HY 2010)
  • Decrease in Melasma pigmentation with topical cream (triple combination cream with hydroquinone, a topical steroid and tretinoin) combined with PDL (Pulse-dye laser) (lien).
