Hansen’s disease (Leprosy) (For professionals)

The Leprosy and Global Dermatology project is community linking physicians in the endemic areas of Hansen’s disease (Leprosy) and dermatologists, pathologists, dermatopathologists, infectiologists, general practitioners, residents, students in medicine and any other healthcare workers.

It is the result of the collaboration between:

-Fundação de Dermatologia e Venereologia Alfredo da Matta (FUAM), Manaus-Brasil.

-Fundação de Medicina Tropical do Amazonas (FMTM), Manaus-Brasil

-Universität Graz, Osterreich

-The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia

It is a means of improving diagnosis and management of this condition as well as other tropical diseases.
