- Fumaric Acid is a big thing in Germany.
- It is used in the management of psoriasis under the brand name Fumaderm
- It also seems to have a positive effect in the management of Multiple Sclerosis, a condition which has also been shown to be associated with psoriasis
- The loading dose for psoriasis is 30mg/d and can be increased to 480mg/d and in the case report there is a PASI 75 improvement of lesions in a patient also presenting with optic neuritis.
